Traveling to road games

As you may know every team travels to away games. Each sport has different days when they travel to games and also each sport travels a different amount of times. Like for example Division 1 Basketball. They have games on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So when division 1 basketball travels they Use a Private Jet for their team and stay in top of the line Hotels. But don't think they dont get any school work done because they have tutors on the road that travel with them and make sure each one of the players get their work done. As far as football on the Division 2 level all of our games are on Saturdays there might be a few which are on thursdays but everything else is saturdays. We leave on fridays depending on how far our games are we leave early on friday or if its close we leave like around 6pm. We always stay in top of the line hotels and the food is great. Due to it being on a friday wedont have tutors to make sure our work is done because we come back to school directly after the games on saturday. But overall the traveling process is a great experience because you can go places that you may never have seen before.

Eligibility

There is a certain GPA (Grade Point Average) for an athlete to have to be eligible to play there specific sport. The GPA that is to be met is a 2.0 for every athlete to be able play on their sports team. I personally got into some trouble this past season. I did not meet the requirements needed to play this past football season. My GPA did not meet the requirements and I did not have enough credits to be eligible for the season.
That was one of the most disturbing times as an athlete who has been playing this game since I was 8 years old. I could not stand to go to any games that my team played or even stand to watch them on tv because I knew I should have been out there playing.
As I experienced that trouble I realized that No athlete should ever have to go through that situation because it is frustrating.
